KODEKS is a project run by
Background Info on the Hardware
and the software being used
Phase One:
From 1996 to 2006 "Kodeks" was hosted on Mac Workgroup Server 7250 running Mac OS 8.6 most of the time, and, only later, Mac OS 9.
Server software: WebStar. Processor: PowerPC 601, 120 MHz. RAM: 48 MB.
The Server ran uninterrupted all the time, with no problems whatsoever.
During this phase, the project was run with cooperation with Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schweier, Slavic Department, Munich University.
Phase Two:
From 2006, "Kodeks" was being hosted on a PowerMac DualCore G5 at 2,3 GHz, running Mac OS X Server 10.4.
Phase Three:
Since 2025, „Kodeks“ is being hosted on a commercial server.
